• Former DCS officer from Covington arrested for improper sexual contact (covnews.com) — A Covington man and former state probation officer has been charged with multiple counts of improper sexual contact involving a probationer, following an investigation requested last year. He was recently booked into Rockdale County Jail and released on bond. State investigators are still working the case and are asking anyone with information to contact the GBI or submit an anonymous tip online or by app.
