Halcyon’s Seasonal Events Return With Yoga, Concerts, More
The seasonal event series at Halcyon has returned, with a farmers market, concerts, dog meet-up, kid's club, yoga, and more.

CUMMING, GA — In celebration of warmer weather and the new season, Halcyon welcomes the return of its outdoor event series. The mixed-use village will host weekly open-air experiences for guests of all ages to enjoy, including farm animal yoga, farmers markets, live music and activities for the whole family.
“With longer days and warmer temperatures quickly approaching, we couldn’t wait to welcome our weekly events series back to Halcyon,” said Susan Grunwald, marketing manager at Halcyon. “These experiences have been a crowd favorite over the past couple of years. We’re excited to have the community come together to once again laugh, sing, dance, exercise and make memories.”

- Halcyon Farmers Market: Held every Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m., the Halcyon Farmers Market celebrates more than 40 local vendors with a variety of fresh produce, flowers, homemade jams, breads and more. The free event is held rain or shine in the event lot behind Cherry Street Brewpub and Land of A Thousand Hills. For updates about each week’s list of vendors, visit the Facebook event page here.
- Groovin’ on the Green: Grab a spot on the Village Green and enjoy live music from local favorites every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m., and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. Be sure to snag a refreshing beverage or delicious bite from one of Halcyon’s onsite restaurants to enjoy throughout the complimentary concert. - Yappy Hour: From 4 to 6 p.m. on the last Tuesday of the month, Halcyon invites furry friends and their owners to Yappy Hour on the Village Green, a doggy meet-up co-hosted by Dogtopia Halcyon and Unexpected Pooch. Activities vary monthly but often include free doggy swag, treats, adoptable pets from FurKids Animal Rescue and Shelters, and more. After the meet-up, stay and dine at one of Halcyon’s dog-friendly patios, including Cherry Street Brewpub with a special dog menu available. For more information, visit the Facebook event page here.
- Discovery Day kid’s club: Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to noon, preschoolers are invited for a morning of guided educational activities, such as arts and crafts, music classes, animal encounters and more. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the duration of the event. For more information, visit the Facebook event page here.
- Farm animal yoga: Llamaste! Get your zen on with Farm Animal Yoga on the Green held on Saturdays twice a month. Local yoga instructors will lead participants through an Ashtanga-based Vinyasa class as baby goats and other farm animals from Atlantis Dream Farm roam the Village Green. Guests are asked to dress comfortably and bring their own mats and water bottles. The classes are appropriate for all levels, ages 10 and older. This event happens twice a month on Saturdays; tickets are $35 per person and pre-registration is required. To purchase tickets, visit the event page here.
- Sunday funday: End your weekend on a high note with Halcyon’s Sunday Funday, happening weekly from March 20 to May 29. From 1 to 4 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy live music, get crafty with Board & Brush, make your own flower bouquet and more. Activities and vendors vary weekly. No outside food and drink or coolers are allowed for any of the weekly events. Free parking is available in Halcyon’s parking deck, and neighbors are also encouraged to visit Halcyon by bike or rideshare app.
In addition to the weekly events, Halcyon is excited to introduce new concepts to the mixed-use destination this spring. On March 1, Halcyon welcomed the third location of fitness center The Forum Athletic Club and will soon celebrate the openings of acai and pitaya bowl concept Playa Bowls, European-style market Il Bottegone and popular Spanish tapas restaurant Eclipse di Luna.
