PHOTOS: Nineteen Graduate From Junior Fire Academy

The Forsyth County Fire Department hosted the training, which stresses teamwork and fire safety.

CUMMING, GA -- Nineteen young people recently graduated from the Forsyth County Fire Department's Junior Fire Academy.

Participants spent the week learning about what it takes to be a firefighter, particularly the importance of teamwork and leadership.

They learned about fire safety, search and rescue, how to use a fire extinguisher and more from Forsyth firefighters.
