Sheriff's Office Seeks Persons of Interest in Headstone Vandalism Case
Authorities would like to speak with three people in relation to the damage inflicted on a historic local cemetery in July.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has identified three persons of interest in a July vandalism incident at a historic Forsyth cemetery.
On July 15, the caretaker of the cemetery on Union Hill Road arrived at the grounds and found several headstones and footstones had been pulled up and broken . Additionally, the caretaker reported a pile of ash littered with soda cans, which were probably part of a bonfire.
The Sheriff’s Office wrote on its Facebook page that the three persons of interest may be students at North Forsyth High School. Authorities stress that the three persons of interest are not suspects in any crime at this point, and are only wanted for questioning.
