Police Arrest Local Teens in String of Car Break-Ins
Gwinnett Police says it cleared six break-ins with the arrests of 17-year-olds from Dacula, Grayson and Monroe.

Gwinnett Police charged three 17-year-olds in connection to several area car break-ins, including a Gwinnett deputy’s vehicle.

Police said among the items stolen were two AR15 rifles, two semi-automatic pistols, police-issued body armor, video games and yard power tools.

In all, police said six entering auto cases were cleared with the arrests of Sean Rappapport of Dacula, Ashton Eskew of Monroe and Connor Squires of Grayson.
Most of the items have been returned to their owners, except yard tools and a hunting bow, believed to have been stolen in the Dacula area (see photo attached to this article).
Rappaport was arrested after a stolen handgun was found during a traffic stop. A search of his home found an AR15 and the police body armor belonging to a Gwinnett County Sheriff’s deputy that were stolen when the deputy’s car was allegedly broken into in Walton County.
“Further investigation identified Connor Squires and Ashton Eskew as co-conspirators,” police said in a news release. “Through statements made by the parties involved, detectives were able to locate an additional AR15 stolen rifle and a stolen pistol.”
Charges filed:
Rappaport was charged with six counts entering auto, one count theft by receiving stolen property, two counts possession of a pistol by a minor, and one count credit card theft.
Eskew was charged with five counts entering auto, one count theft by receiving stolen property, one count possession of a pistol by a minor, and additional charges in Walton County.
Squires was charged with six counts entering auto and one count theft by receiving stolen property.
