Local animal shelters make it more feasible by lowering adoption fees around the holidays. This year, the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Pauldingcountyanimalcontrol" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Paulding County Animal Shelter</a> is waiving fees this Christmas weekend. Hours are: Friday, 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. No matter what the price, the spay/neuter surgery and a lifetime microchip are all included.
