Air Force Vet Johnny 'Jay' Johnston, 51, Dies
Memorial services for Mr. Johnston will be held today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Bernat, Rev. Brent Huckaby and Rev. Billy Bell officiating.

Johnny “Jay” Johnston, 51 of Dallas, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Wellstar Tranquility at Cobb.
Mr. Johnston was born on Oct. 31, 1961 in Birmingham, AL., the son of John Thomas Johnston and Geraldine Machen Johnston. Mr. Johnston was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of Hope Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting. He is preceded in death by a sister, Deena Panter.
Mr. Johnston is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sharon Johnston; son, Patrick Johnston and his wife, April of South Carolina; grandson, Patrick “P. J. “ Johnson, Jr. of South Carolina; Parents, John Thomas and Geraldine Johnston of Childersburg, AL; and father and mother in law, Charles Neal and his wife, Linda of Dallas.
Memorial services for Mr. Johnston will be held today at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Bernat, Rev. Brent Huckaby and Rev. Billy Bell officiating.
Memorial visitation will be held today from 5 p.m. until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Church in Jay's memory.
