ALDI Opening Set for Thursday

Just weeks after , and just over a year since , Hiram will get a new grocery store.

On Thursday, ALDI—a select assortment discount grocer—will open the doors of its newest metro-Atlanta store at 5746 Wendy Bagwell Parkway in Hiram.

The store’s first day of operation will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony before opening to the public at 9.

The Hiram store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

ALDI plans to open 90 stores in 2012. The company has approximately 1,200 U.S. stores located in 31 states.
