Anthony Melillo, 82, Dies

Anthony Melillo, 82 of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 27. He was born on March 7, 1931, in NY, to the late Daniel and Rose Melillo. Mr. Melillo was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed baseball, fishing and the New York Yankees.

Survivors include, wife, of 63 years, Mary Melillo of Dallas, GA; daughters and son-in-laws, Rose Marie & Frank Moffa of New Windsor, NY, JoAnn Gulas of Lawrenceville, GA, and Maria & James Hegarty of Dallas, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille & Joe Bianchi of Bronx, NY; brothers, John Melillo of Sugarloaf, NY, and Fred Melillo of Bronx, NY; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, at noon, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on today from 5 until 8 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 30, from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
