The high school season begins this week all across Georgia.

Three of the five football-playing schools in the Paulding County School District open this Friday:

South Paulding hosts Sprayberry, East Paulding is at Allatoona, and North Paulding plays Creekview at McEachern as part of the annual Corky Kell Classic.

Hiram (at Cedartown) and Paulding County (vs. Pepperrell) open on Aug. 29.
