Asphalt Repair Resumes on Highway 120

Work on the state route will continue in Paulding County through Friday.

DALLAS, GA — Work repairing and patching asphalt on Ga. 120 in Paulding County resumed this week and will continue through Friday.

The work, by state Department of Transportation crews, started Tuesday and is going on from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. for the rest of the week. It will force closed lanes and pacing traffic on the highway, the DOT said.

Motorists are advised to use caution and plan for delays if traveling on Ga. 120 in Paulding County during those times.

It is Georgia DOT policy to repair and maintain Georgia interstates and state highways promptly, efficiently and economically using well-planned activities such as deep patching, proper equipment, and skilled and dedicated employees, the agency said.

Prompt repair of small asphalt pavement defects is designed to reduce overall maintenance costs.
