Mission Possible: Be Green, Save Green
A twenty-something Dallas resident is on a mission to prove it is easy being green... while saving green!

Green is my favorite color. Though I don't wear it well, my laptop is green, my notebooks are green, and few things make me happier than being enveloped in a lush, green landscape. In hindsight, perhaps that's why I like Patch.com—the green grass background is simply perfect.
Green is also a great motivator. Two things that really motivate me: money and the environment. As a twenty-something living in the suburbs, I am on a never-ending quest to be environmentally sustainable and frugal at the same time. The suburbs is known for excess, but I want to prove that doesn't have to be so.
From making a whole host of things from scratch to starting my very first vegetable garden, I want to share my triumphs and failures with my Patch.com neighbors. I hope my blog posts on this community board can help other people see that we can live frugal, sustainable and fantastic lives in Paulding County. I also would love people to share their thoughts and ideas in the comments of my posts.

Do you want to learn more about me in the meantime? I blog over at Sarah in the Suburbs. Though I just started to dust the cobwebs off that site, it's a great peek into my inner workings.
