Burning Ban To Start In Paulding

Effective May 1, the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division has issued a ban for all outdoor burning in Paulding County.

DALLAS, GA – Effective Tuesday, May 1, the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division, or EPD, has issued a ban for all outdoor burning in Paulding County.

The 2018 ban is expected to last from May 1st through September 30th unless weather and drought conditions dictate otherwise.

During this period, the EPD prohibits the burning of limbs, leaves or any other yard debris.

Campfires for recreational purposes are permitted. However, campfires must be contained in a ring or pit and no larger than three feet by three feet and must be attended by an adult at all times.
