Armed Robbers Wearing Halloween Masks Shoot Store Clerk in Neck

The clerk was in stable condition after the incident on Merchant's Drive.

Police are searching for three men who shot a convenience store clerk during a Thursday morning armed robbery in Dallas.

The clerk was shot in the neck, but was in stable condition, Dallas Police said in an email.

Police said the men wore Halloween masks during the robbery attempt at the Citgo location on Merchant’s Drive just before 6 a.m.

The AJC reported the clerk, identified as Danzil Crasto, tried to defend himself with a chair and suffered a non life-threatening wound.

The newspaper reported the men were wearing Spiderman, skull, and ”Jason” masks. They got away with cigarettes.
