The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids program recently received several donations from local businesses and charities.
In September, Greystone Power donated $15,000 to the Cops for Kids program. The money the company donated came directly from its “Operation Roundup” program, which allows members to have their bill rounded up to the next whole dollar.

Although it may be only a few cents on your bill, Operation Roundup is able to help the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids Christmas shopping program each year.
Earlier this week, the Paulding Senior Golfers donated $1,500 to the Cops for Kids program. These gentlemen are good stewards of the community, our local golf courses, and always help underprivileged children when possible.

Through golf tournament fundraisers and other events, the Paulding Senior Golfers annually donate to the Cops for Kids program.
The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Cops for Kids program began in 1998 and took 25 kids shopping. Last year, as a result of generous donations from local businesses, citizens, and charities, the Sheriff’s Office was able to take around 200 children shopping.
Sheriff Gary Gulledge stated, “Without the support of organizations like Greystone and the Paulding Senior Golfers, the Cops for Kids program would likely have ended many years ago. I want to thank each and every one of the businesses, citizens, and charities that donate money to the Cops for Kids program each year.”
