Georgia Southern University Congratulates Graduates

STATESBORO, GA -- Georgia Southern University recently held its annual spring commencement ceremonies for graduate and undergraduate students at Hanner Fieldhouse and Allen E. Paulson Stadium. University President Brooks A. Keel, Ph.D., conferred more than 3,300 graduate and undergraduate degrees during two separate ceremonies to accommodate the graduating classes.

Local students who received degrees are:

Georgia Southern University Announces Spring 2015 Dean’s List Honorees

STATESBORO, GA -- Georgia Southern University recently named 2,611 students for excellence in academics to the 2015 Spring Semester Dean’s List. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have at least a 3.5 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

STATESBORO, GA -- Georgia Southern University recently recognized 1,194 students for excellence in academics on the 2015 Spring Semester President’s List. To be eligible for the President’s List, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.
