MACON, GA -- The following area residents graduated from Mercer University during the University’s spring commencements:

- Kelly Kaiser, of Hiram, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing
- Stephanie Rutherford, of Dallas, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing
- Rhonda Weygandt, of Dallas, earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer’s Georgia Baptist College of Nursing

VSU Announces Dean’s List for Spring 2015
VALDOSTA, GA -- Valdosta State University has announced the names of more than 1,700 Spring 2015 students who earned Dean’s List status. Students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher on nine or more semester hours with an institutional grade point average of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean’s List. Developmental studies, transients, and graduate students are not eligible for Dean’s List status. This list includes:
