Dallas Man Charged in Douglas Infant's Death

Darius Lamont Virger, 28, was arrested Monday and charged with murder in the February death of a infant, according to the Douglas County Sentinel.

Thirteen-month-old Diarra Nicole Chappell died Feb. 15 and an autopsy report later determined the death to be a homicide due to blunt force trauma, according to the newspaper.

Lt. Bruce Ferguson of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Major Case Unit told the Sentinel that "He had been a boyfriend of the infant's mother at some point."
