Dallas Police To Host Free Self Defense Class For Women

This course will include lecture, discussion and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities.

DALLAS, GA—Do you feel nervous walking to your car at night? Do you have a fear of being home alone? Do any of these scenarios sound familiar to you or a loved one?

If so, you are encouraged to sign up for the Dallas Police Department's free R.A.D (Rape-Aggression-Defense-Systems) women's self-defense course.

According to the department, this course will include lecture, discussion and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities.

The class will be held on Feb. 25, March 3, March 10 and March 17 at Sara Babb Park. The scheduled times will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

To complete the course, organizers say participants will need to be present for all four classes. To attend the class, you must register with the Dallas Police Department.
