Elaine Pitts Lindsey, 85, Dies
Interment for Mrs. Lindsey will be held today at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Elaine Pitts Lindsey, 85 of Austell, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice.
Elaine was born on Feb. 16, 1928 to loving parents the late Hughes Pitts and Pauline Hale Pitts. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Billy Pitts, and two sisters Peggy Thompson and Mary Coker.
Mrs. Lindsey was employed in the office of Trimline Sales. She was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed playing bingo with her friends and working outdoors in her garden.
She is survived by four sons Mr. & Mrs. Steve (Charlotte) Lindsey of Riverdale, Mr. & Mrs. Stan (Denise) Lindsey of Punta Gorda, FL, Mr. & Mrs. Charlie (Vickey) Lindsey of Tallapoosa, and Mr. & Mrs. Rex (Tina) Lindsey of Hiram; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Betty Love of Smyrna; several nieces, nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Interment for Mrs. Lindsey will be held today at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
