Come join walkers and runners from throughout Northwest Georgia for the 3rd annual AIDS Walk/Run Cartersville, which will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Dellinger Park in Cartersville. The AIDS Walk/Run will benefit the AIDS Alliance of Northwest Georgia, a non-profit organization that provides HIV prevention and support services in Northwest Georgia. There will be food, awards, prizes, and entertainment. The 5K (3.1 mile) Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 5K Walk follows, at 9:30 a.m. You can walk as part of a team or walk individually. The pre-registration fee is $20 for people 13 and older and $10 for children 12 and under. Day-of registration increases to $25/$15. Register early by going to www.aidswalkcartersville.com to register on line or download a registration form.
