Steve McCarty, interpretive ranger from Etowah Indian Mounds Historic Site in Cartersville, will be visiting with children and their families at the Paulding County Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Ranger McCarty’s visit coincides with “National American Indian Heritage Month” and he is planning a discussion about Native American tools and weapons. He will be bringing a variety of artifacts to show as he teaches about the function of each one. Immediately following the discussion, there will also be a demonstration located behind the library.
