Forrest Thompson, 88, Dies
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 8 p.m.

Forrest Thompson, 88 of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2. He was born on Aug. 28, 1925 in Alpine, AL., and was preceded in death by his father, King David Thompson. Mr. Thompson was a member of Mt. Paran Church of God and retired with more than 40 years of service from Capitol City Club Grocery Store where he worked as a butcher.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise Thompson of Dallas, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Sheila & Russ Ragsdale of Pine Mountain Valley, GA; grandchildren, Michelle & Bo Lawler of Oneonta, AL, Deanne Tate of Dallas, GA; great-grandchildren, Rob & Jessica Lawler of Oneonta, AL, Melissa Lawler of Oneonta, AL, and Jessy Tate of Dallas, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Chris Pavlovsky and Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Cemetery in Hamilton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 until 8 p.m.
