Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Friday, April 19 from 6pm-8pm at Bellamy Funeral Homes Powder Springs. Survivors Include: 1 Daughter: Angela Kay Brekkey. 1 Son: Matthew Miersen. Parents: Mike and Kay Stamper. 2 Brothers: Christopher Todd Woods and Joseph Michael Stamper. 4 Grandchildren.

Oneal Shelnut, age 79, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. The son of the late, Emmett Oneal Shelnut & the late, Cola Chaffin Shelnut, he was born in Jasper, AL, on June 26, 1933. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise Shelnut, in 2011. Mr. Shelnut was a member of Thorsby First Baptist Church and had worked as a salesman in the pest control business.
