Jerelyn Elizabeth Morton, age 73, of Norcross, passed away on Sunday, April 07, 2013. She was born on October 20, 1939, in Atlanta, GA, and was preceded in death by her father, William Walthour, Sr. She was a member of Peachtree Corners Baptist Church.

David McCollum, age 71, of Dallas, passed away on Sunday, April 07, 2013. He was born on July 14, 1941, in Bumcombe County, NC, to the late John and Olivia McCollum, and was preceded in death by his step-father, Hugh Hall. Mr. McCollum was a United States Army Veteran of the 101st Airborne Division. He was a contractor/supervisor with Wright and Lopez, underground construction division.

Jackie Dean Morris, age 73, of Dallas, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013. He was born on August 27, 1939, in Atlanta, GA, to the late J.T. and Mamie Lou Morris. Mr. Morris loved to read and teach the Bible. He was an avid Bible Scholar and taught at the singles department at First Baptist Church in Atlanta. Mr. Morris loved the Braves and Georgia Tech.

Judith Ann Holdeman, age 69, of Hiram, GA, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. She was born in Elkhart, IN, on November 26, 1943, to Freida Mercella Barrett and the late, Roderick Vernon Sawyer and was preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Holdeman. Mrs. Holdeman worked for Cobb General Hospital in the mailroom for 23 years and also was a service operator and installer for Lifeline Services. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Bethel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Holdeman was an avid bird watcher.

Mrs. Montine Lillian Lewallen Newman, age 88, of Rockmart, Georgia, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Polk Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Macland Road Church of Christ, 2732 Macland Road in Marietta with Phillip Satterfield officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12pm until the service. Please join the family for a reception at the church following the service.
