Steven Carter, age 54, of Powder Springs, GA (Paulding County), passed away Monday, April 8, 2013. He was born in Atlanta, GA, November 26, 1958, to the late, Calvin R. Carter & the late, Alidean Leggett Carter. Mr. Carter was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as an engineer. He enjoyed bass fishing and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Rachel Corley Scuiletti, age 87, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was born in Dallas, GA, March 16, 1926, and was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice & Selma Corley; first husband, Ray Roberts; second husband, Johnny Scuiletti; and brother, Thomas Corley. Mrs. Scuiletti retired from Macy’s as a credit supervisor. She loved life and was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren and a great sister to all her siblings. Mrs. Scuiletti was the oldest living member of the Corley family and a lifelong member of Narroway Baptist Church.

Bernice Pike Boozer, age 83, of Dallas, GA, formerly of Marietta, GA, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was born in Piedmont, AL, January 31, 1930, and was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie & Ethel Pike, and husband, Thomas E. Boozer. Mrs. Boozer retired from Sears after more than 35 years as an accountant. She was a member of Powder Springs First Baptist Church.
