Joe Tom Westbrook: March 2, 1934 - July 22, 2012. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 26, at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Rackley and the Rev. George Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. James Osbourne, Bobby Cole, Don Shipp, Mike Vickery, Tim Abad, Dan Paris, Carlos Jones and David Brumbelow will serve as pallbearers.

Thomas R. Powell: Sept. 7, 1941 - July 16, 2012. The 70-year-old Rockmart resident passed away at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fla., following an extended illness. A graveside service will be held at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park on Sunday, July 29, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Danny Echols officiating. The bagpipes will be played by Steve Thrasher. Serving as pallbearers will be David Powell, Jason Powell, Joshua Powell, Wesley Powell, Ethan Powell and Norman Clanton. Interment will immediately follow the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, July 28, from 4 to 6 p.m.
