Funeral Services for Mrs. Edna Eugenia Grummer, age 70, of Dallas, Ga. will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, 2:00 P.M. with graveside services at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 6 - 8 PM at Benson Funeral Home.

Bill Bohannon, age 71, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was born in Cartersville, GA, on May 9, 1942, and was preceded in death by his father, Virgil William Bohannon, Sr.; mother, Mildred Wiley Bohannon; brother, Jimmy Bohannon; and sister, Diane Bohannon-Trammell. Mr. Bohannon retired as the manager of Mannington Carpet in Calhoun, GA. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and all of his family and his church, Zion Baptist Church. 

June Veronica Richard, age 82, of Dallas, formerly of Clearwater, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was born on November 24, 1930 in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to the late Austin and Elsa Marsan, and was preceded in death by her brothers, Steve Marsan, Rudolph Marsan, and Allan Marsan. Ms. Richard was of Catholic Faith and worked as a bookkeeper.

Jean Yancey Meek, age 93, of Douglasville (Paulding County), passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013. She was born on November 19, 1919, in Douglasville, GA, to the late Charles and Verdie Yancey, and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Irvin Meek, SR, four brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Meek was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. 

Jarrett Lee Williams, age 18, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013. He was born on June 7, 1995, and was the son of Danny and Sherry Williams. Jarrett was 2013 graduate of East Paulding High School. He was currently attending Tennessee Temple University on a Sports Scholarship for Discus Throwing and enjoyed attending classes at the university. Jarrett attended Hope United Methodist Church in Dallas.  

Charles Rickey Sensing, age 58, of Douglasville, GA (Paulding County), passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013. He was born on September 3, 1955, in Atlanta, GA, to the late James and Ruth Sensing. Mr. Sensing worked as a machine repairman for CKS Packaging for over 30 years.

James “Edmond” Freeman, age 87, of Dallas, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013. He was born on April 16, 1926, in Dallas, GA, to the late Luther and Beulah Freeman, and was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Virginia Freeman. Mr. Freeman worked in upholsteries for Simmons Company, was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church, and was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army.
