Great Escape: Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre Hosts Four Events This Week
Wednesday through Sunday will be extremely busy at this nearby venue with appearances by Wilco with Nick Lowe, Kansas with the Kennesaw State Symphony Orchestra, "Weird Al" Yankovic and Cesar Millan the Dog Whisperer.
Beginning tonight through Sunday, the Cobb Energy Centre, 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway at Interstate 75 and Akers Mill Road, will host four entertainment events of diverse talents.

Wilco with Nick Lowe will be debuting their new album The Whole Love. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Each ticket is $48.05, including fees, with a detailed ticket purchasing policy to follow.
To discourage scalping and keep tickets affordable, Wilco limits tickets to 4 per person. "Multiple purchases are forbidden and violation of this policy will result in the buyer forfeiting ALL purchased tickets. All tickets will be WILL CALL ONLY and name changes will not be permitted. When arriving at the venue, simply show the credit card you used for purchase along with photo ID. When you receive your tickets, you must immediately enter the venue. No exit and re-entry from venue is permitted. Will Call opens at 6:00pm on show day and we encourage fans to arrive early to avoid delays entering the venue. Kansas ~ Friday
Kansas will perform with the Kennesaw State Symphony Orchestra at 8 p.m. Friday. Tickets are either $47.25 or $68.25, including fees.
The legendary progressive rock band's newly released book Dust in the Wind celebrates their 35th anniversary. Playing only their original music, the "garage band" from Topeka "has produced eight gold albums, three sextuple-platinum albums, one platinum live album and a million-selling gold single "Dust in the Wind."
"Weird Al" Yankovic ~ Saturday
"Weird Al" has embarked upon "The Alpocalypse Tour." Tickets for his 8 p.m. comedy show on Saturday cost $34.95, $45.20 or $55.95, including fees.
Also, on Saturday, this show will debut as an hour-long special on Comedy Central. Filmed at Massey Hall in Toronto on July 16, his TV special was directed by music video director Wayne Isham. The unabridged version will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday.
Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan ~ Sunday
"An Evening with Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer" begins at 7 p.m. Sunday. Ticket prices are $55.70, $65.95 or $86.45, including fees.
Other than his own, no dogs will be permitted in the theatre. Everyone, regardless of age, will need a ticket.
Millan is a dog behavior expert who has his own TV show Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel. He also is the author of Cesar's Way.
