Helen Eloise Cochran Briscoe, 67, Dies

Helen Eloise Cochran Briscoe, 67 of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 30. She was born on Aug. 15, 1946, in Atlanta, to the late William & Arla Cochran, and was preceded in death by her husband, John Briscoe, son, John Richard Cochran, and sister, Martha Jeanette Johnson. Ms. Briscoe was a member of Mableton Church of God. 

Survivors include daughter, Marla Cochran of Franklin, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Harland & Lisa Cochran of Douglasville, GA, William Dennis & Charlene Cochran of Austell, GA, and John Donald Cochran of Douglasville, GA, sister, Catherine & Terrell Newton of Douglasville; grandchildren, Helen Michelle Newton of Dallas, GA, and John Robert Cochran of Marietta, GA. 

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Randy Newton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 2 p.m. until the service time.
