July 2013 Animal Control Stats

We are a county of animal lovers.  Our county leadership will tell you that they love animals and about how many dogs they have.  However, how many know or care about these numbers?  Do they ever review these numbers?  And if so, do they just blame "the irresponsible public"?  Or do they consider what we can do to improve them?
34 cats and kittens lost their lives last month, simply for being feral, does the leadership look at these numbers and plan to put in place a TNR program?  Or do they look at all?
I challenge you to ask them.  Call your commissioner post and ask him, what are they doing to ensure that 169 more animals don't lose their lives in the shelter again this month.
