Lady Wolfpack Head to Pope for Playoffs

Teams from two Paulding high schools are continuing their pursuit of state crowns this week.

The Lady Wolfpack volleyball team, runner-up in Area 5-AAAA, is in the second round of the AAAA state playoffs. The team is traveling today to Pope High School for a best-of-five match set for a 6:30 p.m. start.

In softball, will host the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday as the Lady Patriots face Creekview High School. The first two games of the best-of-three series begins at 5:15 p.m., with Game 3, if necessary, scheduled for Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Admission is $7 for Wednesday and $5 if a third game is necessary on Thursday.
