Urban Redevelopment Plan Gets Final Nod
The Paulding Board of Commissioners approved the plan at its Tuesday afternoon meeting.

Paulding commissioners Tuesday gave their official blessing to an amended Urban Redevelopment Plan that will declare portions of Dallas and the county as slums, blighted or underdeveloped with the goal of having those areas declared an opportunity zone.
The plan received unanimous approval during the commissioners’ Tuesday afternoon business session. Before the vote, no members of the public stepped up to weigh in on the plan during a public hearing opened for that purpose.
The plan now moves onto the Department of Community Affairs for its consideration.
