Local Chatt Tech Player Hyppolite Signs

Chattahoochee Tech guard Stephan Hyppolite signed a scholarship to play for Point University last week.

guard Stephan Hyppolite signed a scholarship to play for Point University on Thursday at the college’s Marietta campus. Hyppolite, who was already committed to Point as a preferred walk-on, is joining CTC teammates Brannon Hopkins and Devonn Pierce at the school in West Point, Ga.

According to a Chattahoochee Tech news release, Hyppolite redshirted this season for the Golden Eagles, and will have four full years of eligibility with the Skyhawks. The 6-foot-1-inch combo guard lettered in basketball, football and track at, making the all-region team as a wide receiver.

Chattahoochee Tech finished 19-12 this season, its second as a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
