The pageant contestants were selected from more than 18,000 Hooters Girls who presently work in one of the more than 400 Hooters locations worldwide. They each competed in local and regional swimsuit contests for one of the 60 coveted spots in the 30th Anniversary Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant.

The local and regional contests along “The Road to Vegas” served as fundraising events for the inaugural Hooters for Heroes™ campaign, a program designed to raise money and awareness for military non-profit organizations dedicated to U.S. veterans and their families. Hooters has established a relationship with the Green Beret Foundation as the official military cause partner for this year’s campaign. Many servicemen and women will receive tickets to attend the pageant as special guests of Hooters to cheer on the contestants.
