Man Arrested For Soliciting Sex From Paulding County Teen

Bradford Lee Spears, of Rockmart, is charged with pandering, the sheriff's office says

ROCKMART, GA — An area man is under arrest on charges he tried to exchange money for sex with a Paulding County teenager.

Bradford Lee Spears, 50, of Rockmart, was arrested October 7 on charges of pandering, the Paulding County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Wednesday.

According to the sheriff's office, Spears approached a 16-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle on a Paulding County roadway and requested sexual favors in exchange for money.

Spears was arrested at his home without incident and booked into the Paulding County Detention Center.

He bonded out on October 10.

The sheriff's office is asking anyone with information in this case, or any other involving a crime against a child, to contact its Crimes Against Children division at (770) 445-6105.
