Mattie's Call: Mentally Challenged Man Missing in Paulding County

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office says Robert Clayton Campbell was last seen Thursday, Oct. 9, at 4 p.m.

Mattie’s Call alert from the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office (issued 8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10):

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, working in conjunction with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), has issued a Mattie’s Call for Robert Clayton Campbell.

Campbell goes by the names “Bob” or “Clay” and is diagnosed with Schizophrenia. Campbell was last seen at his residence, where he lives with his elderly parents, on Thursday 10/09/14 at approximately 4:00 pm.

Campbell was wearing a teal shirt and khaki shorts when he left the residence. Campbell left the residence in the family vehicle which is described below. [See photo attached to this article]

Campbell frequents Bookstores, McDonalds, Starbucks, and Other Coffee Shops. Campbell’s family stated that he is off his schizophrenia medication and that they are worried about his safety.

They further stated that he likes the Tybee Island/Savannah, Georgia area as well as the Clearwater/Tampa, Florida area. According to family, Campbell is not a violent person and they fear he may be in danger because he is off his medication and is driving a motor vehicle.
