McDonald's Recalls Hello Kitty Toy; Choking Hazard Reported
Return the toy to any Dallas or Hiram area McDonald's to receive a replacement toy and complimentary food.

If you purchased a Happy Meal with the Hello Kitty whistle toy at an area McDonald’s, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has reported it is a choking hazard.
McDonald’s recalling the toy an suggests you should return the toy immediately to a store nearby for a replacement toy and a free snack.
There are several McDonald’s located in the Dallas and Hiram areas, according to the company’s website, including:

The Hello Kitty whistle consists of a Hello Kitty figure and a whistle. The figure can be opened to reveal the whistle, and children can swallow parts inside the whistle and choke on them. McDonald’s has already received reports of two such incidents. One child who sucked part of the whistle through his or her mouth needed medical attention.
Parents should immediately return the whistle to their nearest McDonald’s store for a replacement toy and either a bag of apple slices or a yogurt tube.
