Murder Victim, James 'Jim' Lathen Hendon, Jr., Funeral Services Announced

James “Jim” Lathen Hendon, Jr., 41 of Dallas, died on Saturday, November 16. He was born May 4, 1972, in Austell. Mr. Hendon was a carpenter and he was a member of New Seasons Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kerri Lea Hendon; son, James Matthew Hendon of Dallas, GA; father, James Lathen Hendon, Sr. of Auburn, GA; mother & step-father, Linda Henderson & husband, Scott of Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Timmy Hendon of Lawrenceville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Angie Neese of Lawrenceville, GA, Robbin Bennett of Lawrenceville, GA and Lisa Tullis & husband, Harold of Auburn, GA; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Mike & Donna Murphy of Fayetteville, GA; sisters-in-law, Robin & Donald Yancey of LaGrange, GA and Christy & Todd Greak of Brooks, GA; grandmother, Ruth Massengale of Brooks, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 4 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Donald Yancey officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 3 p.m. until the service time.
