By Justin OveA missing Austell man whose disappearance sparked a Mattie's Call has been located safe, Cobb County police say.Officer Mike Bowman tells Patch that 78-year-old Francisco Jose Garcia was located at a gas station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard attempting to buy gas for his vehicle just after midnight on Aug. 16. A department press release indicates that Fulton County police discovered Garcia inside his black 1995 Isuzu Rodeo.According to the release, <a href="https://patch.com/georgia/smyrna-vinings/cobb-police-search-missing-elderly-person/#.U_Iag_ldVgk">Garcia originally disappeared from the 3000 block of Sweet Flag Run</a> in Austell at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 13. His wife told police that her husband had left the house without his glasses or his medications for his heart and kidney. His bank card recorded a transaction in Conyers at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 14.Garcia has been returned to his family.
