North Paulding Leads County Schools in Directors Cup
Each year the Regions Bank Directors Cup is given to the top performing high school athletic department in each classification.

The Regions Bank Directors Cup is presented by the Georgia Athletic Directors Association to recognize the top athletic departments in the Georgia High School Association. Points are accumulated throughout each school year to determine the best programs in the state by classification, gender and region.
Points are tallied from each school’s top eight scoring sports among the 25 sanctioned GHSA sports in which each school participates. Each school that wins will receive a Regions Directors Cup trophy and wall banner.

scored 332.5 points and finished in 29th place overall. finished in 53rd place and scored 212 points.
Following the top two Paulding County finishers was in 65th place with 163.5 points and with 53 points in 83rd place. scored 10 points and came in at No. 90.

North Paulding boys’ teams finished in 44th place and scored 137.5 points, placing in four sports: golf (57), swimming (43.5), tennis (25) and track (12).
The Lady Wolfpack scored 195 points and finished in 21st place. They tallied 66 points in swimming, 54 in golf, 25 in volleyball, 25 in tennis and 25 in soccer.
East Paulding scored points in two boys’ sports and two girls’ sports. The Raiders finished in 45th place with 133 points and earned 70 points from football and 63 from wrestling.
The Lady Raiders finished in 60th place with 79 points from cross country (54) and soccer (25).
South Paulding boys’ teams only notched one qualifying finish, a 25-point entry from the baseball team. The Spartans finished in 81st place.
The Lady Spartans scored 138.5 points and came in at No. 38 among AAAA girls’ programs. They earned 58.5 points in track, 30 in cheerleading, 25 in soccer and 25 in softball.
Hiram and Paulding County only scored points from boys’ programs. Hiram scored 53 points in football and Paulding County scored 10 points in wrestling.
Hiram’s boys placed 75th in the state and the boys from Paulding County came in at No. 88.
