Paulding County Polar Plunge To Benefit Special Olympics

The first-ever Paulding County Polar Plunge, sponsored by the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, is set for Feb. 17.

PAULDING COUNTY, GA — The first-ever Paulding County Polar Plunge, sponsored by Sheriff Gary Gulledge and the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, is set for Feb. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lake Swan at Carrington Pointe, 531 Lake Swan Park. All proceeds will go to Paulding Special Olympics to support local athletes.

“If we have to be cold for a few minutes to help raise money for Special Olympics, I think that is a small price to pay if we are able to raise money to help these children," said Sheriff Gary Gulledge. "The Special Olympics organization is a great group and we are proud to support them.”

Entry fees are $15 per person or $75 per five-person team.
