Paulding Virtual Academy Accepting Applications Tuesday

Students may apply to start a program at the online school in spring 2017.

DALLAS, GA — The Paulding Virtual Academy, the county's online school, will begin accepting applications for spring 2017 on Tuesday.

County school officials made the announcement Monday on social media.

Paulding Virtual Academy offers students the opportunity to use teacher-supported, technology-based courses to earn high school credits.

Its mission, according to its website, is to provide an individualized, blended learning program to serve students in a nontraditional yet focused environment.

It has a focus on career skill development and building post-secondary connections required for future success.
