The journey for today was to take a ride to Love Street at Cedarcrest in either Acworth or Paulding County. Address confusions. My friend wanted to get a bead for her Pandora bracelet. Her dad passed away last year and she wanted to get a rose bead. I wanted to get a bead but of course they didn’t have the beads that I was interested in getting, yet.

Now where to lunch? I was starving and the ladies at Love Street who were so nice, recommended our going to Pizza Shack across the parking lot.

Off we went to a really good lunch. My friend suggested that I blog about the newly opened establishment. Since I had my trusty camera with me onward.
I knew when we got to the door that this happy guy would be the beginning of an great eating experience.
The restaurant was very clean and has nice décor. The owner told us about the barrels which came from Jim Beam distillery. The ends of the tables were actual whiskey barrels cut to size. Then the dark stained wooden table tops was explained to me as five tables in the place were stacked together then had been sliced with a huge saw from the same huge tree trunk. So neat!
The menu was so clean. I hate when you get a menu and it is sticky and stained. There was a large selection of my favorite foods. I got my standard 2 slices of cheese pizza.
The lights was cool! They were the perfect light for the perfect place to eat. As a whole the décor really set a high standard for the food to live up to which the pizza did. Food was great!
My friend pointed out this shelf on the wall. I got it right away. You know those metal square stands that they put your pizza on that sits in the middle of the table getting in the way. Well this wood shelf holds the pizza to the side of the table and has easy access to grab a slice and stuff your face. I thought also it would be a great spot for families with young kids or klutz like me to put my drink on so as not to knock over the soda and soak everything. I saw lots of access to plugs to keep your laptop charged. Love it!
Oh take care to not fall into the sewer on the floor.
My food arrives and no disappointment here.
I got a large pizza to go because family is staying at my house and as hot as it got today, I just didn’t want to worry about cooking.
Come dinner time the Pizza Shack pizza was enjoyed by all.
I really enjoyed the lunch at the Pizza Shack. The owner was particularly nice. She told me the plan was to help her son start up the business and after he is finished with his studies, she will turn the business over to him and then she will return to her dream of college. I thought what a great mom to take this time out of her life for her adult son for him to get the start on his dream. She pointed out her boy over by the hot pizza ovens. He looked like he loves what he does. Incredible!
