The motorcycle racer who <a href="https://dallas-hiram.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/report-dallas-man-killed-in-motorcycle-race-at-road-atlanta">died in an accident Saturday at Road Atlanta</a> has been identified as Andrew White of Dallas, Ga. A spokesperson with the Hall County Sheriff's Office said White, 29, had a gear-shifting problem that made him lose control of his motorcycle and crash into a concrete barrier, <a href="http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=275853" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">AccessNorthGA.com</a> reported. White was racing in a WERA Cycle Jam event at the Braselton, Ga., race track when the accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7. He was taken to the Barrow Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
