Reward Offered in Gun Heist at Paulding County Business
The ATF says $5,000 is being offered for the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the April 3 burglary at Liberty Guns.

A reward is being offered in the investigation into the theft of three dozen firearms from a local gun store in early April.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Atlanta Field Division said in a news release that it is offering $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible of breaking into Liberty Guns.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is matching that amount for a total reward of $5,000.

The ATF and Paulding County Sheriff’s Office have been investigating the April 3 burglary and theft in the early morning hours at Liberty Guns, located at 2483 Cedarcrest Road, Suite 201 in Paulding County.

“ATF takes this crime very seriously,” said Special Agent in Charge Carl Walker in a statement. “There are 36 firearms on the street, with the strong potential of being sold to or used by other criminals to commit violent crimes. ATF is committed to preventing firearms trafficking, which is a serious offense resulting in significant federal prison time for those responsible.”
