“Do yourself a favor: Be an easy grader. Score yourself on a curve. Give yourself extra credit,” comedian and late night television host Stephen Colbert said, while encouraging graduates to set their own standards for success as they transition out of the classroom.

Surrounded by family and friends, 1,861 graduates faced their futures against the backdrop of a new, modern, open-air stage designed to complement the structure of Wake Forest’s iconic Wait Chapel.

Reinhardt University Dean’s List for Spring 2015

Reinhardt University announces that 378 students have been named to the Dean’s List for spring semester 2015. The following local residents were among those named:

A Reinhardt Dean’s List student must maintain a 3.5 grade-point average based on successful completion of a minimum of 12 semester credits with no grade less than a B.

Ashley Hall named to Harding University Dean’s List

Dallas resident Ashley Hall, a senior molecular and cellular biology major at Harding University, is among more than 1,200 University students included on the Dean’s List for grades achieved during the spring 2015 semester.

The dean’s list is published each semester by Dr. Larry Long, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.

Harding is the largest private university in Arkansas with 6,075 students and has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report for the 21st consecutive year as a top 25 school in the South.
