School Schedule Change in Paulding County Friday

School systems across the region are acting early to avoid winter weather expected in the area by Friday afternoon.

Paulding County is included in a winter weather advisory, issued by the National Weather Service for Friday, January 22.

Due to forecasted weather conditions, the Paulding County School District will release students two hours prior to their normal dismissal times.

Elementary schools will be released at 12:30pm. Middle and high schools will follow at 1:30pm.

Please make the appropriate arrangements to ensure your children are met at the bus stop.

District officials will continue to monitor the weather forecasts throughout the night and morning hours.
