Seasonal Workers Needed in Cobb

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Alorica recruit about 100 seasonal workers for a call center in Kennesaw.

A recruitment of customer service representatives will be held Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon at the GDOL’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center, 465 Big Shanty Road in Marietta.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) and type at least 35 words a minute. They should have a résumé and are encouraged to dress appropriately to improve their opportunities for employment. The salary is $9 an hour. While most of the jobs are part-time, they may result in full-time employment based on performance by the selected applicants.
