Sheriff's Office: 5 Domestic Violence Arrests in Warrant Roundup

Local effort was part of national event to arrest individuals with outstanding warrants, according to the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.

Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies made five domestic violence arrests, along with other charges, during the local office’s participation in the 12th Annual National Family Violence Apprehension Detail initiative.

The effort Oct. 22 was part of a national push to arrest individuals with outstanding warrants for domestic violence.

Paulding County Deputies made attempts to serve 16 warrants, resulting in the five arrests, along with additional arrests for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Giving False Name and Date of Birth, and a Parole Violation Warrant.

Sheriff Gary Gulledge stated, “Participating in programs like these help reduce crime in our community. My Deputies work relentlessly to help keep Paulding County a safe place for our citizens.”
